Learn to build interactive dashboards from scratch
In this session, you'll load a sample retail sales dataset, model the relationships, and create your first three-page dashboard using slicers, cards and column charts. By the end you'll understand Power BI's model-view-report loop.
What you'll learn
- Import CSV, Excel and SQL data sources into Power BI Desktop
- Build a star-schema data model with relationships
- Create measures using DAX (SUM, AVERAGE, CALCULATE)
- Design an interactive report with slicers and drill-through
